JPG to PDF

Convert JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC images to PDF online: combine photos into one PDF with A4, Letter or original page sizes. Free and private.

Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Drop your images onto the drop zone above, or click to choose them. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC (iPhone photos) are supported, and you can add many at once.
  2. Check the file list and use the up and down arrows to put the images in the order you want the pages to appear.
  3. Choose a Page size:
    • Same as image – each page takes the proportions of its photo, with no borders unless you add a margin.
    • A4 or US Letter – standard paper sizes; each image is scaled to fit and centred on the page.
  4. Optionally set a Margin in millimetres to leave white space around each image.
  5. Click Convert to PDF and download a single PDF containing all your images, one per page.

The PDF is built with pdf-lib inside your browser; HEIC photos are decoded locally too. Your pictures, which often include ID cards, receipts or personal photos, are never uploaded.

Choosing the right page size

Photos and scans come in all shapes. A phone camera typically shoots in a 4:3 ratio, while paper sizes are taller and narrower. The page size option decides how those shapes are reconciled:

OptionPage dimensionsUse it when
Same as imageFollows each imageSharing photos on screen, portfolios, keeping every pixel visible
A4210 × 297 mmPrinting or submitting documents in most of the world
US Letter8.5 × 11 in (216 × 279 mm)Printing or submitting documents in the US and Canada

With A4 or Letter, images are scaled proportionally, never stretched, and the page turns to landscape automatically for landscape photos. Because paper and photo proportions differ, expect some white space on two sides. A margin of 10–15 mm gives a clean, printed-document look and keeps content away from the non-printable edges of most printers.

About HEIC and image quality

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on recent iPhones and iPads. PDF has no native support for it, so the tool converts HEIC images in the browser before placing them on pages. JPG files are embedded exactly as they are. PNG and WebP images are converted to high-quality JPEG before embedding, so transparent areas become white.

  • The size of the PDF depends mainly on the size of the photos. If the result is too large to email, reduce the photos first with Compress Image, or run the finished file through Compress PDF.
  • To add images to an existing PDF instead of creating a new one, use Merge PDF, which accepts PDFs and images together.
  • Text in photographed documents is not searchable in the resulting PDF, because no OCR is performed.
Tip: Scanning paperwork with your phone? Photograph each page against a dark background in good light, crop the photos, then convert them with A4 page size and a small margin for a tidy, printable result.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put several images into one PDF?

Yes. Add as many images as you like; they are combined into one PDF with one image per page, in the order shown.

Will my photos lose quality?

JPG photos are embedded unchanged, so they keep their full quality. Other formats are converted to high-quality JPEG, which is visually very close to the original. For the sharpest prints, start from full-resolution photos rather than copies shrunk by a messaging app.

Do HEIC photos from my iPhone work?

Yes. HEIC and HEIF files are converted in your browser and added like any other image.

Can I fit more than one image on a page?

Each image gets its own page. To place several pictures on one page, combine them into a single image first, then convert it.
