Interactive tools for groups

The Team Quiz turns any screen into a quiz show: write your questions, show the PIN and QR code, and players or teams answer from their own phones. Points reward fast correct answers, and a live leaderboard keeps the room engaged. It works for classroom revision, team-building, onboarding, training sessions, pub quizzes and conference breaks.

To pick a volunteer, a winner or the next speaker fairly, Spin the Wheel turns a list of names into a colourful wheel you can show on the board; the result is chosen with your browser's secure randomness before the wheel stops.

For technical teams, the Collaborative Code Editor lets several people write the same code at once with live cursors, which is ideal for pair programming, coding interviews and teaching.

How a live quiz works

  1. Prepare the questions. Write your own, or let the quiz generate them from a built-in bank of general knowledge, history, geography, science, art and sports questions in your language. Mix both if you like.
  2. Start the game on a laptop connected to a projector, a TV or a shared screen in a video call. A six-digit PIN and a QR code appear.
  3. Players join on their phones by scanning the QR code or typing the PIN, with no app and no account. In team mode they pick a team colour.
  4. Play. Each question opens after a three-second countdown; faster correct answers score more, and the leaderboard appears after every question.

Ideas for classrooms and teams

  • Teachers: start or end a lesson with a five-question recap, run revision games before exams, or let students write quiz questions for each other.
  • Managers and trainers: break the ice in an all-hands, check understanding after onboarding or compliance training, or run a friendly team-against-team match in a remote meeting.
