This policy explains how ToolsForAnyone (toolsforanyone.com) uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, which choices you have, and how to change them. Read it together with our privacy policy.
What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser so that it, or services it works with, can recognise your browser later. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that keep data on your device. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until you clear it.
How we ask for consent
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or customise your choice by category. Strictly necessary cookies and storage are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional.
- For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you allow them.
- We use Google Consent Mode, so Google Analytics and Google AdSense receive your choice and only store cookies for the categories you allowed. If you reject advertising cookies you may still see ads, but they are not personalised and no advertising cookies are stored for that purpose.
- Your choice is kept in your browser for 12 months; after that we ask again. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page or the button above.
Categories
Strictly necessary
Needed for security, to remember the choices you make on the site (such as your language and your cookie choice) and to make tools work. They do not track you across other websites and cannot be switched off here.
Analytics
Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages and tools they use and roughly where they come from, so we can fix problems and decide what to improve. The statistics we see are aggregated; we do not use them to identify you.
Advertising
Google AdSense shows the ads that keep the site free. With your consent, Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your interests, to limit how often you see the same ad and to measure ad performance.

Third-party cookie names and lifetimes can change; the providers' own pages have the current details. See how Google uses cookies and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Files you open in our PDF, image, ZIP, CV and AI tools are processed in your browser and are not stored in cookies or sent to us.
Other ways to control cookies
- Personalised ads: you can also opt out at Google My Ad Center or Your Online Choices.
- Analytics: the Google Analytics opt-out add-on blocks Google Analytics on every site.
- Browser settings: every browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data. Our tools keep working without optional cookies; if you delete local storage, your saved settings, favourites and drafts are lost.
