Why our file converters are different

Most online PDF and image tools upload your documents to their servers, process them there and keep copies for hours or days. Ours do all the work inside your web browser using well-known open-source libraries (pdf-lib and Mozilla's pdf.js for PDFs, SheetJS for spreadsheets, mammoth and docx for Word files). Your contracts, invoices, IDs and photos never leave your device. There are no upload limits, no queues, no watermarks and no sign-up.

What works best

• Perfect results: merging, splitting, rotating and numbering PDFs; images to PDF; PDF to images; Excel and CSV conversions; image compression, resizing and format conversion.
• Very good results for typical documents: Word to PDF, PDF to Word and PDF to Excel. These rebuild text, headings and tables, but very complex layouts may need touching up.

Large files are limited only by your device's memory. Desktop computers can usually handle documents of hundreds of pages.

Are my files uploaded?

No. PDF, Office and image tools run inside your browser, so your files never leave your device.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed limit; very large files depend on your device's memory. Most PDFs and images up to a few hundred megabytes work.

Do the converted files have a watermark?

No. Downloads have no watermark and no sign-up is needed.

Which formats are supported?

PDF, Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX), PowerPoint (PPTX), CSV, JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, TIFF, SVG and ICO, in many combinations.
