Currency converter
The currency converter uses the European Central Bank's reference rates for about 30 currencies, updated every working day, with a 90-day chart for any pair. The most searched pairs have their own pages with conversion tables in both directions and the 30- and 90-day high, low and average: USD to INR, EUR to INR, GBP to INR, USD to PHP, USD to IDR, AUD to INR, CAD to INR, USD to CAD, EUR to USD, GBP to EUR, GBP to USD, EUR to TRY. The guide how exchange rates work explains why your bank's rate differs.
Savings and compound interest
The compound interest calculator shows how savings or investments grow with monthly or yearly deposits, any compounding frequency from yearly to continuous, an optional yearly increase in deposits and inflation, with a chart, a year-by-year table and the formula worked through with your numbers. It works in any currency. The guide compound interest explained covers the formula, APY versus APR and the rule of 72 with worked examples.
UK calculators (tax year 2026/27)
The UK calculators use the rules for the tax year from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027: the personal allowance and income tax bands for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the separate Scottish rates, employee National Insurance, student and postgraduate loan repayments and pension contributions. Start with the UK salary calculator for your take-home pay, or convert an hourly rate with the hourly wage calculator. Part-time workers can use the pro rata calculator, people with a second job the two jobs calculator, and new parents the maternity pay calculator.
Buying a home? The UK mortgage calculator shows monthly repayments and what overpayments save, and the stamp duty calculator covers SDLT in England and Northern Ireland, LBTT in Scotland and LTT in Wales.
US calculators (2026)
The US calculators apply the 2026 federal income tax brackets and standard deduction for each filing status, Social Security and Medicare (FICA), and the income tax of all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Use the US salary calculator for annual take-home pay, the paycheck calculator for each pay period, and the salary comparison calculator to compare offers or states. For borrowing, see the mortgage calculator with property tax, insurance and PMI, the auto loan calculator and the debt payoff calculator; for retirement, the 401(k) calculator.
These calculators give estimates for typical situations and are not financial or tax advice. Rates are reviewed when governments announce changes; each page shows when it was last updated.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
Where do the currency converter's exchange rates come from?
From the European Central Bank's euro reference rates for about 30 currencies, published around 16:00 CET on every working day. Rates between two non-euro currencies are calculated through the euro. They are mid-market rates for information: banks and exchange services add a margin.
Which tax year do the calculators use?
UK calculators use the 2026/27 tax year (6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027); US calculators use the 2026 federal and state rules. Every rate comes from official sources such as GOV.UK, HMRC, the IRS, the SSA and state revenue departments.
Are the results exact?
They are accurate estimates for typical employees. Your payslip can differ slightly because of your tax code, benefits, local taxes, pay dates or employer rounding; check anything important with your employer, lender or a qualified adviser.
Is my salary or financial information stored?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent to our server.
Why are there separate UK and US calculators?
Tax, National Insurance, Social Security, mortgages and borrowing work differently in each country, so each has its own pages with the right rules, currency and terms.
